Competence and Mastery in Practice: On Participation, Responsibility and Believing in Your Own Abilities

<p dir="ltr">Despite very few mastery experiences from school, two young boys are now valuable employees in a professional garage. Through practical work, and a company manager who gave them trust and responsibility they have now experienced the success and developed the confidence they needed to believe in a positive future for themselves. The film is a strong criticism of the compulsory school’s inability to mediate knowledge and self-confidence through practical experiences.</p>
