Video 1. Video clip of an episode of seizure-like behaviour corresponding to the still photographs in Figures 2 and 3. At the beginning of the video, the animal is seen running very rapidly around the open field, then jumping in the air, falling on its side, and convulsing. It should be noted that the very fast running is part of the seizure-like episode; at other times, the animals move less than half as fast around the cage or when running on the wheel.

Video 2. Video clip of an episode of seizure-like behaviour of a squirrel different from the squirrel shown in Video 1. This animal transitioned rapidly from sitting quietly to convulsing.
