For comparison purposes, each individual was stimulated by a standardized handling performed by the same person (DCF). The stimulation consisted of holding each lizard in one hand and slowly turning it upside down repeatedly for approximately two minutes. Each lizard was stimulated twice, with an interval of 5 minutes to rest.
