Law and Humanity: The Campaign to Control Warfare, 1853-1914</i> (London:
Bloomsbury Press, 2018). The interview supplements Assistant Professor Benjamin
Coates’ (Wake Forest University) review of the book in issue 1.2 of <i>Diplomatica</i>.
